There's a lot of new sites for both authors /writers and readers; iliterati is one of them (www.iliterati.com). iliterati is billed as the 'social network' for wise owls and I would agree.
It has a number or writers of various genres that have signed up (your truly included) and they do have some interesting reading already available on the site.
The write up on the site says it best.....
iliterati connects aspiring authors and discerning readers, putting authors in touch with the people reading their work and increasing the range of work available to readers.
Authors can electronically self-publish their work to find an immediate audience, and readers can find new and interesting voices they won't find in bookstores cluttered with generic copycats. Sign up today to join our community and connect with other aspiring writers and poets, and readers looking to discover exciting new voices of up and coming writers.
So, if you're an author looking to put your work out to the public, or a reader looking for something different, try iliterati.
I've posted three of my previous short stories on the site already and will post others soon. BTW, I've updated each one of the shorts posted to there's some new 'bits' that you'll be able to enjoy.
BTW, this is a UK based site and many of the writers already signed up are from the UK. This will give you a wider range of stories, poems and the like for you to enjoy. So go ahead, try it......
